The Steps of New A/C Installation

Step 1 | You Contact Us

Step 2 | We Send an Expert for Estimates
Once we’ve asked you a few basic questions about the job in particular, we’ll send out an Armstrong technician to personally inspect your HVAC system.
This technician will use expert experience and cutting-edge tools to determine the best unit for your space and budget.
Step 3 | We Remove the Old System
Say your fond goodbyes or go full Office Space on that thing; once we have the new unit ready to install, we’re going to tear out the old system and dispose of it safely.
Step 4 | We Prepare for the New System
Before we can just plug in the new system, we’ll need to do a few important things first:
- Check and adjust any electric hookups and connections for proper power requirements and wiring cohesiveness
- Check and adjust and ducting hookups and connections for proper system circulation
- Install any necessary piping for the new system
Step 5 | We Install, Hook Up and Test the New System
When all the prepwork is complete, we anchor the new baby down and make all the final electrical and circulation connections.
We then test the system and ensure that the refrigeration system is filled to the manufacturer’s specifications.
Step 6 | Thermostat Inspection and Recommendations
Maybe you’d like to keep your old thermostat; maybe you picked out a swanky new, top-of-the-line unit.
Either way, we’ll ensure that your thermostat is functioning at top performance to match your new A/C unit.
Step 7 | Final Check and Maintenance Recommendations
When everything is said and done, we’ll give your system one final run-through to check for any potential issues. We’ll also go through the system carefully with you to outline a detailed maintenance schedule for keeping your HVAC running like heaven.
